Dental Services
Oral Health Services are available to registered patients living in the three-county Service Area. The practice includes the services of North Carolina licensed dentists, as well as fully licensed dental hygienists and certified technicians.
The scope of oral health services includes cleanings, extractions, fillings, minor dental surgeries and the fitting of dental prosthetics. Oral cancer screening, fluoride and dental sealants are an important component of oral health maintenance. Patient education encompasses oral hygiene, tobacco use, utilization of services and the importance of proper diet for good oral health. Medicaid and most commercial insurance carriers are accepted. Payment plans are available for the uninsured.
Dental services are available at Carolina Family’s Dental Center, located in Nash County. Patient transportation is available upon request. The Dental Center is open one night per week to accommodate working families. During the growing season, services are extended to migrant farmworkers via a mobile dental van staffed by the CFHC dental team.
